Goodness gracious! Springtime is here and peach season is just around the corner. Right now our workers are in the fields thinning out each variety by hand. The weather and rainfall have been just perfect for growing. The peaches are around the size of your thumb.

The answer to the question on everyone’s mind – When will you have ice cream? Plans are to open our retail stand on Monday, May 12th. I scream, you scream, we ALL are screaming for Dickey Farms’ ice cream. Yum, yum!

Don’t forget your father or grandfather on Father’s Day! We will start shipping our delectable peaches on June 16th just in time to give your dad a very delicious Father’s Day gift. Of course, you can send your mom a gift certificate for our mouth-watering peaches and we will be glad to ship them to her any time this summer.

Last week we just could not wait any longer and made Paula Deen’s The Lady’s Peach Shortcake. We used the final container of the peaches we froze last summer. It was so delicious and made us even more anxious for the season to come.
